I have been a huge fan of Mink Stole for as long as I can remember, so of course I jumped at the chance to do the makeup for her role in the Peaches Christ Productions’ “Return to Grey Gardens” pre-show performance. Playing her fabulous self, a simple doe…
My finished live demo makeup from RAW:SF! This is right before they had their own little stomp down the runway. Couldn’t be happier with their makeup in the end!
#Peaches #Krueger is in the building…. Such a great night! Now on with the #Nightmare! #FX #makeup #nofilter
Over the weekend I got the chance to turn a drag icon into a horror icon… Talk about a dream come true! For the Midnight Mass showing of “A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2” Peaches Christ became Peaches Krueger with a little help from some slipcast latex pieces I created, a bit of old age stipple, aqua and alcohol colors and a bit of shadow. It was a total fan-boy moment, capped off with meeting Mark Patton (Jesse in the film) who is the ultimate scream queen in my book. It was such an amazing opportunity and can not wait to work with Peaches and this awesome crew again!

I told my friend that I would do her makeup and turn her into whatever she wanted. She chose a flamingo. I had so much fun! We did a basic glam look, something a little more Avant-Garde and then a full out bird-makeover. The bill was sculpted and then cast in Smooth-Cast® 300 and attached to a slipcast latex base for attachment. And lots of pink feathers.
